Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 13 years old to use Split. By using the App you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are between 13 and 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

You may create an account using email, phone number, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or compromise the integrity of the platform.

Split is a competitive, team-based game app. You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated scripts or bots
• Manipulate point systems, streak counts, or team scores
• Abuse or fraudulently exploit referral systems
• Harass, threaten, or target other users with hate speech or abusive content
• Impersonate another user or person
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
• Use rooted or jailbroken devices to gain an unfair advantage
• Disrupt or degrade the experience for other users

We use automated security tools (including Talsec freeRASP) to detect and block devices running in compromised environments. Detected violations may result in immediate account suspension.

Split offers optional in-app purchases including gems, weapons, upgrades, and other digital items ("Virtual Items"). By making a purchase you agree that:

• All purchases are processed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms
• All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law
• Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash
• Virtual Items are licensed to you, not sold; they remain our property
• We may modify, adjust, or discontinue Virtual Items, pricing, or availability at any time
• Points, streaks, team scores, and rankings are game metrics with no cash value

You may submit content such as usernames, profile avatars, captions, and referral links ("User Content"). By submitting User Content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the App. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you submit.

You may not upload or share:

• Illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or obscene content
• Content that infringes third-party intellectual property or privacy rights
• Spam, malware, or any content designed to disrupt the service

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms without notice.

Your use of Split is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data—including through Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), and other Firebase services operated by Google LLC. By using the App, you consent to data collection and processing as described in the Privacy Policy.

All content, design, graphics, code, branding, and other materials in Split are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of Split at any time, including game mechanics, monetisation structures, features, events, and scoring rules. We may also suspend access for maintenance or updates. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free access to the App.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that harms the community or the service. You may stop using Split and delete your account at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any purchases.

Split is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Scores, rankings, or game data will be accurate or preserved at all times
• Any bugs or defects will be corrected

You use the App at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we and our officers, directors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, Virtual Items, points, or in-game progress
• Lost profits or revenue
• Damages arising from unauthorised access to your account

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated within the App. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of Split after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
